Verizon Planning Massive LTE Expansion June 21

Verizon Wireless announced a large number of smaller markets where it will soon launch LTE 4G for the first time. The markets include Jefferson City and the Lake of the Ozarks region in Missouri. In addition to the Missouri markets, Verizon is also soon launching LTE in Bedford, Pa.; Jacksonville, New Barn, and Burlington, N.C.; Seymour and Columbus, Ind.; and Gainesville and Panama City, Fla. Most of the new markets will see LTE service go live on or around June 21. Verizon Wireless is also expanding LTE coverage in a number of existing markets, including parts of Idaho and eastern Oregon; The Triangle in North Carolina; Palm Beach, Volusia and Flagler counties in Florida; and southeastern Massachusetts.
