Facebook Buys Beluga

Facebook today announced that it has purchased a start-up called Beluga. Beluga, which is a small company made up of three ex-Google employees, has developed a group text messaging application. Beluga believes that selling to Facebook will help expand its user base. Facebook hasn't announced exactly what it will do with Beluga's service, but it could fit well with Facebook's existing mobile offerings. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.(follow link to read)
