Amazon's App Store for Android Devices Goes Live

Amazon today officially opened the doors to its own Android application storefront. The Amazon app store offers a wide range of titles for Android devices, including games, social networking, utilities, productivity and more. The Amazon app store can be reached via Amazon.com for easier app discovery, and is also available as an application directly on Android handsets. The Amazon app store is an off-market application, meaning users will have to allow unauthorized applications to run on their devices in order to install it.
