Sprint's WiMax Roaming Costs Revealed

Sprint today announced that its WiMax 4G customers can now roam onto the WiMax networks of Digicel in Jamaica and Global Mobile in Taiwan. The roaming agreements were first announced in December 2010, but the service is now active and available. Sprint also announced pricing details. Customers can purchase one-day, unlimited roaming passes directly from their laptop for $14.99 before taxes and fees. The roaming deal only applies to Sprint's WiMax laptop dongles, however. Users of Sprint's WiMax-enabled smartphones will need to seek other ways to connect to mobile networks when traveling to Jamaica or Taiwan.(follow link to read)
