Verizon's LTE Footprint Swells By Another 7 Markets
Verizon Wireless today announced that on March 15 it will expand is LTE 4G footprint to seven new markets, including Dothan and Enterprise, Ala.; Naples, Fla.; Greenville, N.C.; Altus and Durant, Okla.; and Longview/Marshall, Texas. These seven markets boost the total number of markets covered to 203. The company will also expand its 4G LTE network in 17 existing markets. Some of the expanded markets include Washington, D.C.; Baltimore, Md.; Northern N.J.; Wilmington, N.C.; Harrisburg and Philadelphia, Pa.; Hilton Head, S.C.; Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas; and Madison and Milwaukee, Wis. Verizon says it has more than 20 LTE devices available to customers.
