Tiered Data Headed to Verizon this Summer

Speaking during an investor webcast, Verizon Wireless CFO Fran Shammo said that Verizon will implement tiered data pricing for iPhone and other smartphone customers by this summer. Verizon said it initially offered iPhone users unlimited data for $30/month because it didn't want to dissuade customers from buying the iPhone. Shammo said that Verizon is still evaluating data pricing models and will announce them at a later time. (follow link to read)
