Nokia Adds Camera, Mapping APIs to New Qt SDK

Nokia today announced the availability of a new software developer kit for Qt. Qt SDK Beta 1.1's primary new feature is Qt Quick, which Nokia says makes it easier and faster for developers and designers to create Qt applications. The beta also includes new APIs -- such as access to the camera, gallery, maps, calendar and location-based applications -- and improvements to the user interface tools.
