Chevy OnStar Lets Smartphones Start Their Engines

Chevrolet is now offering myChevrolet and OnStar MyLink applications for iOS and Android devices. Owners of 2011 Chevy models can unlock car doors, start their engines, check fuel levels and tire pressure and other vehicle statistics using the new apps. The apps include a car finder service to help users remember where they parked. Users can also request roadside assistance, or download an owner's manual for their vehicle to determine what various warning lights mean. The new apps are available now for download free of charge.
