AT&T HTC Mondrian ads leak ahead of tipped Oct 21 Windows Phone 7 debut

If you hadn’t already guessed, Windows Phone 7 is fast approaching. Not only have further “source familiar” with the launch schedule tipped Neowin to an October 21st worldwide launch event – as well as an October 11th NYC “open house” to show off some of the devices – a couple of leaked HTC Mondrian adverts were spotted by WMPoweruser.

The HTC Mondrian is headed to AT&T – both according to previous leaks and to these new adverts themselves – and looks a whole lot like the HTC Schubert spotted in the wild a while back. Its specifications are obviously unconfirmed, but going by its Mozart Euro cousin we’re expecting a WVGA Super LCD display, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and an 8-megapixel camera.
As for the tipped launch date, that’s supposedly for the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain. No confirmation on whether WP7 handsets will arrive at the same time in the US or, as was rumored before, that they won’t show up there until November.
