T-Mobile and AT&T have joined forces to make sure that customers affected by Hurricane Sandy can stay connected.
The two carriers have entered into an agreement that allows customers in impacted areas to roam on the other's network. With the agreement, customers will place calls just as they do normally, with the call connected via whichever network is most operational in their area.

The transition between the two networks will be seamless on the customer end, and customers will not be charged any additional fees for roaming on another carrier.
