Apple announces March 7 iPad 3 event

Apple sent out invites today for an event that'll take place at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. The event flyer shows a buttonless (or landscape) iPad and promises there will be something we really have to see and touch. We expect Apple to unveil the iPad 3. We don't know the exact details on the upcoming iPad, but, if the invite picture is any indication, the iPad 3 will have a high-resolution display, a major bump in the processor, Siri and possibly LTE.
